Police Child Protection
Center (PCPC) was established at Jinnah Town Quetta in 2010 with the
collaboration of SEHER NGO’s. The same NGO further provided FIR
Registers/ FIR Forms for compilation of data for the crimes &
violence against children which were distributed to all Police
Stations in Balochistan.
Police Department deployed sufficient men power and logistics.
Present Staff/ Strength
Functions of the PCPC
Provision of shelter and other facilities to missing children till
their parents are found.
Coordination and data compilation.
Issuance of notification for the facilitation of children in
conflict and contact with law.
Advocacy at higher levels.
Training and capacity building of the staff.
Publications (leaflets, booklets, progress reports etc)
Strengthening the capacity of the Police staff on child protection
Strengthening the service provision directly and through referral
Public awareness on the services provided by the CPU.
Strengthening the data collection and compilation mechanism.
